Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or engaging our electrical services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Wattix Electric.

Services Description

Wattix Electric provides professional electrical services including, but not limited to:

  • Residential electrical installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Commercial electrical solutions and system upgrades
  • EV charger and automatic door opener installation
  • Electrical panel upgrades and service enhancements
  • 24/7 emergency electrical services

Licensing and Compliance

All electrical work is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, local building codes, and regulations enforced by the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA). All work requiring permits will be properly permitted and inspected as required by law.

Estimates and Pricing

Our pricing practices include:

  • Free estimates are provided for most projects and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified
  • Final pricing may vary from estimates if project scope changes or unforeseen issues are discovered
  • Payment terms will be specified in your service agreement. We accept various payment methods including cash, credit cards, and e-transfer
  • Emergency services and after-hours work may be subject to premium rates

Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide safe and clear access to work areas
  • Provide accurate information about your electrical system and property
  • Ensure pets and children are kept away from work areas for safety
  • Cooperate with permit and inspection processes as required

Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind our work:

  • We provide a warranty on our workmanship for a period specified in your service agreement (typically 1 year)
  • Materials and equipment are covered by manufacturer warranties
  • Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wattix Electric's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We maintain appropriate liability insurance as required by Ontario law and industry standards.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Our cancellation policy:

  • We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee
  • Deposits paid for materials or project scheduling may be non-refundable

Emergency Services

Our 24/7 emergency service is available for urgent electrical issues that pose immediate safety risks. Emergency rates apply to after-hours, weekend, and holiday service calls. Response times may vary based on technician availability and weather conditions.

Insurance and Bonding

Wattix Electric maintains comprehensive general liability insurance and WSIB coverage as required by Ontario law. Proof of insurance can be provided upon request.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, we encourage open communication to resolve issues amicably. If necessary, disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with Ontario law before pursuing litigation.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
